The City of Freedom – the Royal Capital of Pomerania stands proud on the shores of Baltic. Located in northern Poland in Pomeranian Voivodeship, Gdańsk boasts 470 907 citizens. It is visited by more than 3,000,000 tourists every year. One of the top hot spot destinations in the region, Gdańsk had surprisingly humble beginnings dating to more than 1000 years ago.

Gdańsk, also known as Danzig, is one of the hottest Baltic spots. If you want to visit Poland and enjoy the Baltic Sea, there is no better choice than Gdańsk. A part of Trójmiasto agglomeration, also known as Tricity in English, Gdańsk is the most prominent and iconic out of the three cities by far. Along with Sopot and Gdynia, it offers a unique opportunity to experience the joys of northern Poland accompanied with a relaxing sea breeze. If you want to have fun at the Baltic, visiting Gdańsk is your best bet.

The 3 tours we booked were all fantastic. All of the drivers provided a first class experience on the day. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would book again.

The best way to get to your hotel is a doors-to-doors service that picks you up at the airport and drops you off directly at your lodgings. There are multiple ways you can book a transfer with us – through our website, a chat, email, phone call. Pick whatever is the most comfortable for you. Our rides are very comfy and our drivers are friendly, ready to meet and greet you the moment you land. By the way, if you are confused by the“door-to-door”- it means that we will take care of you from the moment you land to the moment you reach your stay. In case of a flight delay, do not worry. Our drivers are not packing up and going away the moment you are late. In fact, they will wait for you, so do not worry! If you booked a transport at MrShuttle, we will be there, no matter how long it takes. We prize your trust, and won’t betray it. You can trust us to be there when you need us. Additionally, if there is any confusion regarding where is the hotel, hostel, apartment or homestay when we get to the address you give us, we will help you find the place.

We know Gdańsk can be confusing, and you might have trouble asking people around. It might take 5 minutes of our time, but save you a lot of anxiety and stress. Your smile is worth it to us. Also, if for whatever reason you need to cancel your transport with MrShuttle, do not worry. We understand, and will not demand any additional fees if you do it within 24hours of the scheduled transport. Rescheduling is also not a problem. Don’t worry.

Gdańsk Lech Walesa airport is located about 17km from the Gdańsk city center. A car ride takes about 25-30 minutes. It is possible to reach it via public transport as well. The 210 bus line will take you directly to the Main Station in Gdańsk. Just be wary that it will take about 50 minutes. The fastest and easiest way to leave the airport is by using doors-to-doors transport, such as MrShuttle. This way, you can go directly to your hotel using the fastest route possible, and you don’t have to worry about traffic jams or your luggage.

If you have money to burn, taxis are fast and on-demand. However, they will quickly deplete your pocket money, and many taxis still don’t like being paid with a credit or debit card. Still fast, and way smarter and economical is using public transport. Use Jakdojade to plan your routes and minimize your confusion. You can get to anywhere from anywhere using public transport, though it won’t always be super fast or convenient. If you enjoy physical activity and enjoy biking, there are many bike rental services available in Gdańsk. We personally love cycling, so this is our second most recommended option, tied with a water tram! While the water tram might not be the most convenient or fast, it is something you have to experience AT LEAST once when in the city. It is just so unique, fun, and relaxing! If you have figured out your plans for a day ahead, and know that you might need to travel long distances, consider arranging a ride with MrShuttle. This is especially convenient and useful when starting or ending your trip. If you want us to pick you up at your hotel and drop you somewhere in the city, or the other way around, just give us a call!

Gdańsk City Main Train Station is about 1 kilometer from the city center. A short, relaxing walk from Golden Gate at the start of Long Lane will take you only about 10 minutes. Adjacent to the Main Train Station, you can find the Main Bus Station. Convenient!
