Because of this, it’s often used in movies to make sure you know where the characters are! The legendary bells of Big Ben have been silent for the past few years due to renovations. Make sure to not miss them when they start ringing again in 2021!
Big Ben is one of London’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but not the only one! London UNESCO Sites include Tower of London, Maritime Greenwich, Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, and Westminster! There are only a select few places in the world that can boast as many Heritage Sites as London does. You should give those a look when you come to visit!
However, what attracts the most tourists in London is neither of those. It is also not the London Eye, nor the Buckingham Palace or world-famous Madame Tussauds. With almost 6 million visitors every year, British Museum reigns supreme, with only Tate Modern art gallery being able to challenge its dominance. When visiting, you simply cannot miss them – there is a reason why they remain one of the most desired tourist attractions in the world!
