Vitoria Gasteiz
Vitoria is a city in Spain located around one hour away from Bilbao. It is a great opportunity to discover the region and move from one place to another. In the La Rioja Alavesa, one of the seven regions of Araba, a picturesque medieval village called Laguardia is located. Laguardia covers 81,08 km² full of marvellous wineries and a lovely main square. It is located on a hill from where we can admire divine views. In the area, there are many medieval remains. You will take a stroll along atmospheric tiny streets and enjoy the spirit of the place. This destination will definitely leave you speechless.
During the trip, you will have some free time to visit a local restaurant and try the traditional cuisine of the region. The guide is there to help you with the choice and he will provide any information you need. You can feel safe and sure next to a knowledgeable person who knows the neighbourhood with one of the greatest regional food in the whole country.
What does the price include?
The price includes a bilingual tour guide who is there to show you around and also provide any suggestions. He speaks both English and Spanish. During some tours, cultural events are held, depending on date you choose. If you are lucky, you might see Vitoria folk performances such as Dantza Plazan (dance in the square from May 7th to September 17th), Magialdia (International Festival of Magic from September 13th-17th).
The price covers the transfer from Bilbao Carlton Hotel – Plaza Federico Moyua 2 to Vitoria Gaistez, La Rioja and Laguardia. After the trip, you will be taken back to the hotel. The drop off is also included in the price of the tour.
