Naturalmente ho letto le storie, ho guardato i documentari e visto le fotografie, ma essere effettivamente lì è stato raccapricciante. Era una bellissima giornata invernale, ma potevi solo immaginare l'orrore in una gelida giornata invernale o in un torrido giorno estivo per gli sfortunati detenuti di questi campi. La guida è stata molto informativa e rispettosa e abbiamo visitato varie baracche e celle di tortura dove la sofferenza di quella povera gente poteva appena essere immaginata. Il potenziale dell'uomo per la crudeltà e la depravazione non cessa mai di stupire. Un viaggio molto ben organizzato e condotto. Lo consiglierei vivamente. Of course I have read the stories, watched the documentaries and saw the photographs but to actually be there was chilling. It was a beautiful winters day but you could only imagine horror on a freezing Winter’s day or a blistering Summer’s day for the unfortunate inmates of these camps. The guide was very informative and respectful and we visited various barracks and torture cells where the suffering of those poor people could barely be imagined. Man’s potential for cruelty and depravity never ceases to amaze. Very well organised and conducted trip. I would highly recommend it.
Viaggio eccellente che consigliamo a chiunque viaggi a Cracovia. Siamo stati ritirati in orario e tutto è andato senza intoppi. Excellent trip that we would recommend anyone travelling to Krakow to do. We were picked up on time and everything went smoothly.
Guida molto brava, non solo ha trattato la storia di entrambe le località ma ha anche sollevato questioni sul comportamento umano e la psicologia degli atti commessi lì. Poiché la guida era polacca e aveva una storia familiare legata al luogo e all'attività che si è verificata lì, ha parlato con passione e ha anche evidenziato che anche dopo che i tedeschi furono rimossi dai russi, la Polonia non era ancora liberata poiché viveva sotto il giogo dell'oppressione sovietica e alcuni individui sfortunati andarono da Auschwitz al GULAG. Very good guide, not only covered the history of both locations but also the questions about human behaviour and psychology the the acts carried out their raise. As the guide was polish and had family history linked with the location and activity that occurred their he spoke with passion and also highlighted that even once the Germans were removed by the Russians Poland was still not liberated as it lived under the yoke of soviet oppression and some unfortunate individuals went from Auswitz to the GULAG. Let us not forget most of Europe was not liberated after WW2, the just moved from one totalitarian dictatorship run through fear to another!
Normalmente non scrivo mai recensioni, ma in questa occasione ho sentito che dovevo farlo. Mr Shuttle si è rivelato essere una scelta eccezionalmente buona. Tutto, dai trasferimenti dall'aeroporto al tour, è stato svolto al più alto livello. Coronato da conducenti molto cordiali e disponibili e un ottimo livello di puntualità che ha reso il nostro viaggio molto più privo di stress, soprattutto quando si ha a che fare con un gruppo di 12 persone. Consiglio molto questa azienda. Absolutely never write reviews but feel I should this time. Mr Shuttle proved to be an exceptionally good choice, everything from the airport transfers to the tour were done to the highest level. Topped off with very friendly and helpful drivers and a great level of punctuality which made our trip so much more stress free, especially when dealing with a group of 12 of us. Very highly recommend this company

Così premuroso, amichevole e veramente esperto della storia della Polonia e dei campi. L'auto era bellissima e pulita, e Tomasz ha organizzato i pranzi preconfezionati e ne vale davvero la pena! Visita emotiva ma assolutamente da vedere. So thoughtful, friendly & really knowledgeable of the history of both Poland & the camps. The car was lovely & clean & Tomasz arranged pre packed lunches and they are well worth it! Emotional but must see visit.

The tour guide we had was emotionally invested and was by far the most knowledgeable, most approachable. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable again.

La Cappella Sotterranea di Santa Kinga è mozzafiato! C'era una cappella scavata nella salgemma, statue straordinarie, altari e immagini tipo 3D, tutto scolpito nel sale, persino i cristalli dei lampadari erano fatti di sale lucidato. St Kinga's underground Chapel is breathtaking! There was a chapel carved out of rock salt, amazing statues, alters and 3D type pictures, all carved out of salt, even the crystals on the chandeliers were made from polished salt.
Miniere bellissime. Il tour è iniziato alle 10:00, quindi ho preso velocemente una tazza di tè dal chiosco. Tour started at 10:00 so I grabbed a quick cup of tea from the kiosk. Small group of us given headset and instructions from our wonderful guide. Then headed off down so many steps. Can't tell you how I felt seeing the huge chapel below with crystal chandeliers made from salt.
