We had an unforgettable experience on the Zakopane and Chocholow Thermal Baths Tour with Rafael as our guide, organised by MrShuttle.com. He arrived right on time to pick us up from our hotel and greeted us with genuine warmth. From the very beginning, he walked us through the fun‑filled itinerary ahead, setting a positive tone for the entire day. Our first stop was Głodówka, where we were treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Polish mountains — a perfect start to the journey. We then visited the charming Sacred Heart Chapel in Jaszczurówka, a beautifully preserved wooden church showcasing the unique architectural style of Zakopane. Next, we headed to Gubałówka. Rafael provided our funicular tickets along with packed lunch boxes, and we enjoyed around two hours of free time to explore. The views from the top were magnificent, and the area was full of life — souvenir stalls, food stands, coffee shops, a mini zoo — something for every age and interest. We enjoyed our lunch while admiring the stunning mountain scenery. After descending, we wandered through the traditional market and picked up some lovely local items. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Chocholow Thermal Baths. It was the cleanest and most impressive thermal spa we’ve visited so far — countless pools, slides, activities, and soothing hot springs. With three full hours to enjoy, it truly felt like a relaxing paradise. Afterwards, we visited Bacówka for cheese and alcohol tasting. Rafael prepared the traditional smoked cheese and offered us a sample of Polish vodka — a perfect pairing and a delightful cultural touch. Finally, Rafael drove us back to our hotel safely and comfortably. This was one of the best day excursions we’ve ever experienced, beautifully organised and delivered. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Krakow.
