What to see in Fuerteventura?

Want to spend time actively? Hike to Pico de la Zarza – the highest peak of the island, which reaches 807 m and is known for riveting views over Playa de Cofete. The trip takes approximately 2 hours, and it’s recommended to head out early in the morning as the sun is too strong later on. You’ll certainly be enchanted once you get to the top of Fuerteventura!
Once you get back from the hiking trip, dive in Piscinas Naturales Aguas Verdes, natural swimming pools in the west of the island. You can also visit Mercado de los Tradiciones, a food market in La Oliva open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm. It’s a great opportunity to taste local delicacies such as sweet fruit, craft bread and homemade jams.
