The tour in Auschwitz-Birkenau was brilliant and we had a brilliant guide called Julia who was so friendly and so informative and answered all questions put to her. She was very respectful of the area. Once finished we got back on the shuttle and were provided with a lunch which consisted of a chicken pasta salad, a bread roll with some cheese and salad, water and a chocolate wafer bar.
Been there. It's awesome! At first you'll feel some claustrophobia, but then you're blown away by how BIG ROOMS those guys carved out in the salt. Amazing underground monument in Krakow.
Our tours went very smoothly and Michael explained everything in great detail as we moved from building to building in Auschwitz and on the grounds of Birkenau. We had a great day with Michael, nicknamed Walker.
We booked on-line through KrakowShuttle.com and the service was great. All present on the day's tour of both sites really enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended.
