The guided tour takes them down 378 steps, leading to a subterranean world of stunning chapels, monuments, and even a salt lake. Absolutely incredible experience.

The breathtaking Chapel of the Blessed Kinga, an ornate chamber entirely carved from salt. Over 20 monumental halls connected by 1.5 miles of passageways.

The intricate salt sculptures and vast chambers left me in awe. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, providing fascinating insights into the mine's history and its impact on the region.

We booked a combined tour. We were picked up from our hotel by our driver Michael, who was absolutely amazing — very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire day.

Very sobering day, everyone should visit this site. Guide was excellent and obviously very passionate about the place. Very good tour, well organised and value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Very well organised tour. The video on the minibus gave an excellent insight into what happened in the concentration camps and then the tour guide provided more details. Everything ran exactly to time, the minibus was comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

The mine is actually still in use, so everybody goes with a guide (it's huge). Completely worth it.

A very informative and educational tour, I booked this at 6 pm Friday evening, it was confirmed by 7.30 pm and we were picked up from our hotel the next morning. 100% recommended! Thank you.

Booked Krakow shuttle service via the web, collection on both journeys was excellent, on time and very courteous drivers who spoke good English and were knowledgeable about their city and places to visit. Plenty of time for the tour of Auschwitz, but very sunny and warm. No queueing for tickets anywhere or issue with translation.

We had a fantastic time. Auschwitz tour is a must. We booked a private transfer through Krakow shuttle. Our driver was Mark. He was a complete gem. His English excellent. We had great conversations to and from our trips. We were completely looked after by Mark.

The Mine has been operating since the 13th Century and the part we explore in three hours represents about 1 percent of the entire complex. We end up 135m below the surface and are glad that there is a lift to take us to the top. Definitely worth visiting!

Amazing place - as long as you like lots of steps down. The tour starts about 110m down and slowly descends to 136m. The main chapel is breathtaking with the beautiful chandeliers and wall.

The lunch provided was more that adequate with a bowl of pasta, sandwich, biscuit and a bottle of juice. This trip is a must do in Krakow and I would thoroughly recommend going with Krakow shuttle.

They were punctual, polite and professional. The tour was arranged with the Auschwitz Museum, who provided a brilliant guide who led us round both sites, giving us an informative, emotional and passionate narrative throughout.

Booked in the UK. They provide an indicative time saying they will confirm the actual time the day before. Sure enough they text and emailed me. Pick up was on time. Friendly driver Dominic. Arrived at Auschwitz had 15 minutes to get a drink. The tour 100 minutes with English speaking guide was excellent.

The tour in Auschwitz-Birkenau was brilliant and we had a brilliant guide called Julia who was so friendly and so informative and answered all questions put to her. She was very respectful of the area. Once finished we got back on the shuttle and were provided with a lunch which consisted of a chicken pasta salad, a bread roll with some cheese and salad, water and a chocolate wafer bar.

Been there. It's awesome! At first you'll feel some claustrophobia, but then you're blown away by how BIG ROOMS those guys carved out in the salt. Amazing underground monument in Krakow.
