St Kinga's underground Chapel is breathtaking! There was a chapel carved out of rock salt, amazing statues, alters and 3D type pictures, all carved out of salt, even the crystals on the chandeliers were made from polished salt.

Beautiful mines. Tour started at 10:00 so I grabbed a quick cup of tea from the kiosk. Small group of us given headset and instructions from our wonderful guide. Then headed off down so many steps. Can't tell you how I felt seeing the huge chapel below with crystal chandeliers made from salt.

You descend 125metres underground. Some of the highlights are the underground chapel and the carvings. You get a recorder and a set of earphones to listen to your guides commentary.

One amazing gift shop after another. I had been apprehensive. It was truly awe inspiring. The three chapels and church built out of rock salt, the many salt sculptures, even the mine supports and stalactites were fascinating.

The tour guide was very informative but also made a few jokes. The mines themselves were a lovely sight and the stories for everything was interesting. It was surprising finding the largest underground chapel and a banquet hall for weddings.

Very beautiful experience but not the best for anyone claustrophobic. Amazing history, sculptures. You will walk down the stairs to reach the lowest level.

I personally found it fascinating that they could carve sculptures out of salt. The mine is incredible.

It was an amazing experience, the chapel inside is stunning! The transport was good and our driver was polite and friendly. Just keep in mind there's a lot of walking, so wear good shoes.

The breathtaking Chapel of the Blessed Kinga, an ornate chamber entirely carved from salt. Over 20 monumental halls connected by 1.5 miles of passageways.

We booked a combined tour. We were picked up from our hotel by our driver Michael, who was absolutely amazing — very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire day.

Very well organised tour. The video on the minibus gave an excellent insight into what happened in the concentration camps and then the tour guide provided more details. Everything ran exactly to time, the minibus was comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.
