Full Tour Description
This full-day Arrábida Wine Tour starts with a drive across the Vasco da Gama Bridge, the longest bridge in Europe, offering beautiful views of the Tagus River Bay. Your first stop will be at the historic Palmela Castle, where you can climb the tower for a fantastic photo opportunity.
Next, you'll drive through the scenic Arrábida wine region, passing numerous vineyards, cork trees, and olive trees. You'll visit a lovely family-owned wine farm in the heart of the Arrábida park, where you'll have the chance to taste some delicious local wines.
Continuing the tour, you'll head to the Arrábida Natural Park, where you can take spectacular photos from a viewpoint at the park's peak, with breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, you'll stop for lunch in the charming fishing village of Sesimbra, where you can relax at the beach and enjoy the local cuisine.
In the afternoon, you'll visit an old wine cellar in the village of Azeitão for a guided tour and two wine tastings, including Moscatel and Red wine. The tour ends with a visit to the Cristo Rei statue, inspired by Rio de Janeiro's Cristo Redentor, offering great views over Lisbon. Finally, you'll return to Lisbon via the scenic 25th April Bridge.
